Southridge Country Store is still here to serve you during this time.
We are not allowing customers in our store for your safety and ours. We are a very small store and feel it is too much of a risk to have people in our space at this time. We want to keep providing you all with what you need.
With that in mind, here is how we are running our business during this time.
Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10 -3:30. At this time we are closed Sunday and Monday.
We are taking your orders and assembling them for you. You can come to our side door, where the umbrellas are set up and you can talk to one of our staff at a safe distance. Tell them what you are looking for, if we don't have it we can help you find a substitution or let you know when it will be in. Once you have had your order collected, you can tap your debit or credit card and process your payment at a safe distance. Once your payment has been received, we will place it on one of our pick-up stations in a bin and you can transfer to your reusable bags or we can provide you with a box. Bins are sanitized to ensure your safety.
How to Place an Order
You can also place an order by emailing us at email@example.com. Orders and emails are not responded to outside of operating hours. Please send us your order with your name and phone number, we may need to contact you regarding shortages or substitutions. Once your order has been assembled, we will call you to arrange a pick-up. Please note, Same day orders by email must be in by one pm. After 1 pm email orders will be assembled for the next day. If your order is needed the same day, you have one more option, Call in your order.
You can place an order by phoning the store at 250-629-2051. You can talk directly to one of our clerks who will assemble your order with you over the phone. This way is very helpful as we can offer substitutions and direct you to items you may have purchased in the past. We only have one phone line so if the phone is busy, please try again later. We are here to help you and your patience is appreciated. Once your order is put together we ask that you come to pick up as soon as you can as we do not have much space and orders can pile up fast.
Please, to avoid not getting your order filled stick to these methods, I do not check Facebook, google business or even my own text messages fast enough.
We are not taking cash at this time. Money has touched many hands and we do not want to risk passing something on to our staff. If you need another option please feel free to talk directly to us and we can work something out. Tap and Debit are excepted and available at a safe distance. We can take payment by phone but we ask that if you can, please come in and pay with your card as fees for these transactions are very high. Every bit helps every bit matters.
This is a big issue right now. Certain items such as flours, rice and bulk items have been a little harder to source recently but we are still receiving items weekly. Check in with us to find out what is available and what isn't. Our orders arrive on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday afternoons. Tuesday we receive our milk, egg, pantry and bread orders. These items will be available first thing Wednesday morning. Thursday afternoons we receive our meat, produce, milk and alternate bread orders. All these items are available first thing Friday morning.
We understand that this all very new and can be difficult. We are here to help and to answer any questions you may have.
